There is no difference between international students and local students after the enrollment and both students are evaluated under the same criteria.
In general, students are expected to have proficiency in Japanese equivalent to or above the N1 level of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test.
UTIPE program, on the other hand, offers language flexibility by allowing students to pursue Master's and Doctoral degrees in English in the Department of Economics.
For those who wish to apply with the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) Scholarship, visit the page for details.
