Method of admission selection will be changed from the application for April/October 2025 Enrollments.
UTIPE has been recruiting students for the Department of Economics of the Graduate School of Economics since 2010 through a special selection process
for English-speaking students. From the student admission for 2025 enrollments, the Department of Economics is to undertake a further reform by integrating UTIPE
with the General Master’s program. It will recruit both Japanese-speaking and English-speaking students through a newly integrated entrance examination.
Japanese language ability remains unrequired to obtain the degree. The major changes are announced
here. For further details, please refer to the application guidelines to be released in late April 2024.
